Alana De La Garza, an amazing actress, has made a lasting impression in the film industry. De La Garza, a Mexican American father as well as an Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. Her move to Texas to pursue a career as a physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on different roles as an actor in independent local films as well as global commercials. Despite the fact that she only had minor parts, the actress soon realized that she was drawn to performing. Then she moved to New York in 2001 and got her first role as Rosa Santos on All My Children A daytime soap. During the early part of the decade, she appeared in small part for JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was offered her first role in a major series on the short-lived show The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to share the screen with some famous TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. She was A.D.A. on Law & Order in 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episodes. The character later re-entered the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. Her character received numerous nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She has also been awarded ALMA Award nods. In 2008, she won one of the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor on CSI Miami. She was Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. Her most current TV work was with NBC's rather dramatic dark show Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After two short episodes it was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is from Italian heritage and is the younger sister of Cory who is about 10 years younger than her. Her family was an environment that was strict and very spiritual. Milano's career began at age seven as her babysitter brought her to an audition. Four girls selected out of over 1,000 applicants included Milano. Milano was featured in commercials on television and off-Broadway as well, such as the American musical adaptation that portrayed Jane Eyre.
